Sell in several languages and countries with Opaline.

Storefront languages#

Every storefront text of Opaline — buttons, cart, search, forms, messages — is translated into English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. Turn languages on under Settings > Languages in the Shopify admin; the theme follows automatically.

To change a wording, go to Online Store > Themes, click … > Edit default theme content and search for the text.

Your own content#

Texts you type in sections — headings, buttons, slides — are translated with Shopify’s Translate & Adapt app or another translation app.

Country and language selectors#

Turn on Show country and language selectors in the footer. The country selector appears when you sell in several markets (Settings > Markets).

Right-to-left languages#

Opaline sets the reading direction from the language: Arabic, Hebrew and other right-to-left languages read from right to left.
