Theme settings
Typography
Choose the fonts of the store, their scale, and an optional sans-serif for headings.
Open these settings#
- In the theme editor, click the Theme settings icon (the paintbrush) in the left toolbar.
- Click Typography to expand the group.
- Changes preview instantly. Click Save to publish them.
Opaline pairs a fine serif for headings with a clean sans-serif for text. Both come from the Shopify font library, so any pairing from that library can replace them.

Most sections have their own Heading typeface setting. Leave it on Theme to follow this page, or switch one section to another typeface without touching the rest of the store.

Used for headings and display type.

Used for body copy, menus and controls.
Font
An optional second heading font. Choose it below for every section heading, or in a single section from its Heading typeface setting.
Dropdown
Large headings look heavy quickly: 200 gives the finest stroke. If the font doesn't offer this weight, its own weight is used.
Slider
Negative values tighten the letters. Measured in thousandths of an em, so it scales with the heading size.
Dropdown
Applies to section headings, not to product titles or the logo. Each section can override it.
