Before you go live

Content#

• Replace every placeholder image with your own photographs. Product photos read best in portrait (4:5 or 3:4).
• Add alternative text to your images in the Shopify admin. Opaline uses it everywhere the image appears.
• Fill in the Logo and Favicon under Theme settings > Logo.
• Check the main menu and footer menus under Content > Menus.

Shopping#

• Open a product with several colors and check that the gallery follows each color (see Color variants).
• Add a product to the cart from a product page, from a collection with Quick add, and from the cart page.
• Try a product with low stock: the quantity stops at what is left, with a message.
• Check the cart drawer and the checkout button.

Store-wide#

• Preview every template on mobile.
• Check the text contrast of your color schemes on photographs.
• Turn on the languages you sell in under Settings > Languages.
• Fill in the policies under Settings > Policies; the footer links to them.
